The 2019-20 NBA season has been a challenging one around the league, and especially for teams making deep playoff runs in the Orlando bubble like the Los Angeles Lakers.

But Lakers star LeBron James says he's feeling great from a physical standpoint, citing his ability to rest and recover after games:

“I’m in great shape, I bounce back very well in between games, and I could play right now at a high level,” James said, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet.

James has been one of the most gifted physical specimens the NBA has ever seen since he entered the league in 2003. LeBron's blend of raw strength and athleticism have made him a wrecking ball throughout his career, and his durability is even more impressive.

That said, it is fair to ask how LeBron's body is responding in a season such as this, considering how much mileage he has logged.

James has essentially played the maximum for the majority of his career given he has been to 10 NBA Finals, including eight straight between 2011 and 2018.

Of course, James had more rest than usual last offseason after the Lakers failed to make the playoffs. Still, the 35-year-old had to ramp his activity back up prior to the restart and sustain a high level of play during L.A.'s playoff run. James has done just that, averaging 26.9 points, 10.4 assists and 8.8 rebounds during these playoffs.

The Lakers suddenly find themselves needing to regain the momentum after the Miami Heat earned a critical win in Game 3 on Sunday. But James will be ready to go as L.A. hopes to take a 3-1 series lead.
