LeBron James is making the most out of the offseason after the Los Angeles Lakers' exhausting two-year run. He hardly had time to fully recover after they won the NBA title last year and it surely showed this season. Perhaps for the first time in his durable career, LeBron showed signs of slowing down.

But The King has made it known that he'll be back with a vengeance, and it seems he's starting with building more energy and keeping his physique in top condition. One of the most delicious ways to do it? Eat meat!

That's exactly what LeBron did, posting on his Instagram Story his steak dinner. But quite interestingly, he said it's his first time to eat steak in more than two years! Talk about the ultimate sacrifice.

Plant-based diets have grown increasingly popular in the NBA. Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul is a big proponent of the plant-based lifestyle. CP3 has been on a full-vegan diet since 2019 and it's no coincidence he's playing in his first NBA Finals at 36 years old.

It wouldn't be surprising if Paul persuades his good friend LeBron to take the same route. But it seems LBJ has already been trying to lessen his meat intake, as he hasn't eaten a steak in over two years (poor guy!). One would think he regularly eats steak to pair with his expensive wines. But apparently, he doesn't.

It's widely known that LeBron James spends over a million dollars every year to maintain his body. Eating steak once in a while won't hurt.
