Both LeBron James and Russell Westbrook have yet to make their respective season debuts for the Los Angeles Lakers. Russ, in particular, has not played his first-ever game for the Purple & Gold, which is why there is a ton of anticipation from LA fans everywhere.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel recently shared his offseason plan for both LeBron and Westbrook. According to the 48-year-old shot-caller, we should be seeing both stars take the floor sooner rather than later (h/t Kyle Goon of the Southern California News Group):

The Lakers kicked off their preseason on Sunday in a 123-97 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. LA suffered their second loss of the preseason on Wednesday as they fell to the Phoenix Suns, 117-105. The Lakers have four more games scheduled in the preseason, which means that both LeBron and Westbrook should see action in at least half of those remaining contests.

Vogel shared his plan prior to Wednesday's loss, and the fact that the Lakers have been lackluster in their opening two contests may influence his decision to play LeBron and Westbrook. LA face off against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Friday, and it would not be surprising if either James or Westbrook (or maybe even both?) make their respective debuts for the Lakers.
