Former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates LeBron James and Kyrie Irving recently buried the hatchet regarding their dispute that dates back all the way to their time together with the Cavs.

James recently discussed the reported phone call, wherein Irving apologized to LeBron after seeing what it was like to be a leader himself for the Boston Celtics. According to the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, he and Irving have now moved passed whatever issue they had in the past:

“Yeah, we’re in a good place right now,” James told Joe Vardon of The Athletic Saturday night. “Me and Kyrie are in a good place right now. I love the man that he’s becoming, I love the challenges he’s accepted and I always wish the best for him.”

Nonetheless, James refused to discuss the details of the phone call, opting to keep that very personal part of the conversation between the two of them:

“We talked and it was a great conversation,” he added. “He told y’all what he said.”

After recently mending ties, there have now been reports that Irving is now open to once again teaming up with LeBron in L.A. The Celtics point guard is currently on an expiring deal and will enter free agency in the summer, so this is actually a real possibility.

While Irving has, in the past, affirmed his commitment to the C's, no extension has been signed as of yet. He previously announced that he plans to re-sign with Boston in the summer, but until pen is put to paper, anything is possible — including the unlikely scenario of Irving following his former teammate to Hollywood.
