Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James officially eclipsed Michael Jordan for fourth place on the NBA's all-time scoring list during Wednesday night's game against the Denver Nuggets.

LeBron had a strong left-handed finish at the rim to score the history-making bucket, but that was one of many that he has made throughout his incredible NBA career.

And if you want to see just how many he's made, you not only do that, but you can also see exactly where all of LeBron's shots have come from to lead up to this insane scoring achievement.

Here's a look at LeBron's career shot chart to this point, courtesy of ESPN's Kirk Goldsberry:

It's clear by looking at this chart that LeBron has had plenty of success scoring at the basket, and his unique athleticism has undoubtedly played a huge role in helping him in that area.

This is an achievement that LeBron will certainly be proud of, even if it hasn't come in one of the best seasons of his career.

The Lakers have struggled to find a rhythm in recent wills, and that will likely cause Luke Walton's team to miss the playoffs given the difficulty of their upcoming schedule.

But even with the team's problems this season, LeBron's historic accomplishment shouldn't be overlooked when you consider that he now has more points than Jordan.
