LeBron James and Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss have developed a close relationship, which is notable since The King hasn't always had the best relationship with his owners.

During his media session on Thursday, James talked about his “incredible” rapport with Buss, who is with the Lakers in the Walt Disney Bubble as the team is one win away from winning championship No. 17 in franchise history.

LeBron James signed with the Lakers in the summer of 2018 after his second stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers came to an end. The three-time champion and four-time MVP wanted to bring the Los Angeles organization back to prominence as the next challenge of his career and he's one win away from accomplishing that goal, as the Lakers are up 3-1 on the Miami Heat in the Finals.

While things weren't that pretty for James and the Lakers in 2018-19 due to LeBron's groin injury and all the Anthony Davis trade drama, Los Angeles' 2019-20 season hasn't been filled with any turmoil since the team has been winning. The most stressful thing the Lakers had to deal with was the tragic death of icon Kobe Bryant in January.

Jeanie Buss is certainly happy that James chose to play for her team. The L.A. franchise had some dark years after the 2010 title over the Boston Celtics, so Buss is thrilled her club is close to being back on top thanks to James and Davis.
