At least six children were killed in shootings across the country over the weekend, something Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James is deeply saddened by.

LeBron has three kids of his own, two sons and one daughter. With that said, the Lakers star and his wife must have been affected by these murders emotionally.

Once the “bubble” games start in Orlando, Florida, LeBron and the Lakers will be one of the favorites to win the championship. However, it's clear all the players from the 22 teams will have a lot on their minds, as racial injustices in America are still prevalent.

It's unknown what the Lakers players are going to put on the back of their jerseys. The NBA gave a list of phrases players can put on their uniforms for the “bubble” games, which start on July 30 at Walt Disney World.

Before games were suspended in March, the Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference. They hold a 5.5 game lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in the West standings.

In 60 games for the Lakers prior to Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert's positive COVID-19 test forced commissioner Adam Silver to suspend games in March, LeBron James was averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 boards and 10.6 assists while shooting 49.8 percent from the field, 34.9 percent from beyond the arc and 69.7 percent from the free-throw line.
