Los Angeles Lakers superstar Lebron James is only a win away from grabbing his fourth championship ring after dismantling the Miami Heat, 102-96, in Game 4 of the 2020 NBA Finals. The four-time NBA MVP also spoke on the level of competition being played in the championship series, via Washington Post's Ben Golliver.

The Heat couldn't contain the Lakers forward as he tallied a game-high 28 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists in 39 minutes of action. His running mate in Anthony Davis bounced back with 22 points, nine rebounds, and four assists of his own.

Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope finally got his groove going with crucial baskets in crunch time en route to a 15-point output while fellow sniper Danny Green contributed 10 points for the team.

Forward Jimmy Butler top-scored for the Heat with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists while rookie swingman Tyler Herro added 21 points and seven rebounds on a losing effort.

Being in the NBA Finals is nothing new for Lebron James. He has long imposed his dominance against the rest of the league in recent seasons as he earned eight-straight NBA Finals appearances from 2011 to 2018. He also led his squads to a total record of three victories and six defeats in the championship stage.

The Purple and Gold now find themselves on a 3-1 advantage and will hope to close out the series in Game 5 of the NBA Finals slated on October 9. Lebron James hopes to etch his name in record books once more as he inches closer to his fourth ring and giving the 17th title in Lakers franchise history.
