The King isn't holding back. In his postgame interview after the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Dallas Mavericks in their first scrimmage in the NBA Bubble in Orlando, LeBron James continued to speak up. This time, the 35-year old took aim at President Donald Trump.

“In 2016, Barack was our President. We know that's going on now. Is that progress? I think we can all say that's not progress” said James.

The four-time MVP is taking full advantage of his airtime as the NBA season restart continues to unfold. There were a lot of questions and controversy surrounding the continuance of this year's season and the players are making sure the resumption of the NBA doesn't distract the people from what's actually going on in the country. LeBron James and other NBA athletes are using their voice on the murder of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and of course, Donald Trump.

If you think about it, the NBA restart comes at a great time. Athletes as well as other members of the league are now given an opportunity not just to showcase their skill set on the court but to also speak out and continue to put pressure on the nation's leaders to enact real, social justice. And, given that the United States' election is just a few months away, this might be the perfect avenue for LeBron James and members of the NBA community to not only campaign for real change but also promote the importance of voting.

Look for other players to follow LeBron James and contribute to the cause.
