When you're arguably the greatest basketball player on the planet, you tend to get certain perks, especially when it comes to sneakers. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James proved that on Tuesday, giving all of social media a sneak peek at his brand new unreleased Kobe sneakers, per Overtime:

Talk about fly. The sneakers are covered in gold, with the Nike signs on each side flaunting a bright pink and royal blue. Could we see the Lakers star wear them on Tuesday night against the Knicks?

James is expected to make his return to the lineup after reaggravating his ankle injury in early May after playing just two games. The King has missed a total of 24 contests this season, which has been a huge reason LA has fallen into a play-in spot.

But LeBron is now pain-free in his ankle, which is great news as the veteran forward prepares to suit up on Tuesday. With just four games left, the Lakers will be looking to finish on a high note. They will likely meet with the Warriors in the play-in, while the Phoenix Suns, who Los Angeles beat on Sunday, could be their first-round opponent.

I don't know about you, but I'm excited to see if James is flaunting these sick new kicks in his return.
