It’s not a good day to be a Michigan Wolverines fan for obvious reasons. Conversely, it’s an unforgettable one for Ohio State Buckeyes football supporters like Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. In case you haven’t heard, the Wolverines got their behinds whooped big time by Ohio State in Columbus this Saturday to the tune of a 62-39 score, and James was never going to let the moment pass without mocking someone with an affinity with the Wolverines’ athletic program like, you know, his own teammate in the form of Moritz Wagner, who was a product of Michigan.

At one point during the fourth quarter of the contest, James hopped on his phone and checked on his rookie teammate, who should probably not be on social media right now with all the sharp-pointed ribbing he’s likely getting as of the moment.

The Wolverines entered Saturday ranked fourth in the nation, and only needed a win against Ohio State to virtually guarantee a spot in the College Football Playoff. Instead, they saw Dwayne Haskins and company destroy their defense that had been nearly impenetrable prior to this week. Michigan started the day fourth in the nation with just 13.5 points allowed and tops in the FBS with 234.8 total yards surrendered per contest, but gave up over 60 points and close to 600 yards to Ohio State.

The Buckeyes will play the Northwestern Wildcats on Dec. 1 for the Big Ten title.

LeBron James should come into Sunday’s game against the Orlando Magic inspired by this weekend’s success by the Buckeyes.
