LeBron James has complete trust in Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka that they will do everything in their power to work on the roster of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Per ESPN, via Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, James admitted that the various possibilities and combinations of players have been crossing his mind.

“I can’t sit here and lie and say I don’t think about it, the possibilities of what we could possibly have but I’ve stayed away from fantasy basketball.”

However, he knows that like him, the front office comprised of Johnson and Pelinka are not satisfied with what the Lakers have right now.

James' comments come in as another trade deadline is approaching. Since donning the purple and gold, various analysts believe that James needs one more superstar to turn his team into a championship contender. The likes of Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony, among others, are some of the names who have been regularly brought into the discussion.

It's now a popular belief that Johnson and the rest of the front office are not willing to break up the Lakers' young core comprised of Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, and Josh Hart. Moving forward, it would be interesting to see how the Lakers front office will navigate through trade offers, especially since it's the young core that the teams are looking at to trade for.

Like James, perhaps Lakers fans should trust Johnson and Pelinka and let them work their magic. They already landed the best basketball player in the world over the summer. Luring in more talent shouldn't be a problem.
