In January, Mark Phillips went viral for a video of him impersonating Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. Almost exactly six months later, Phillips is going viral once again, thanks to his highly enjoyable interaction with James on the red carpet at the Space Jam: A New Legacy premiere on Monday.

In the original video, Phillips, as LeBron, is getting up shots when he gets wind of the blockbuster trade that sent James Harden from the Houston Rockets to the Brooklyn Nets.

β€œI'm 36! I'm 36! I'm not Thanos!” he yells, before hurling the basketball against the wall. β€œWhy's it always everybody vs. me!”

At the time, LeBron caught wind of the video and shared it with his followers.

At the Space Jam premiere in Los Angeles, James dapped Phillips and his friends up, then launched into his own version of the routine. The Lakers star also paid compliments and encouragement to the group.

β€œWhen I tell you, you had me f*cking crying, bro. For real, bro,” LeBron said. β€œY'all boys keep getting that shit. For real. Y'all bro has got it, man. Keep going.”

Understandably, Phillips was ecstatic about the moment.

In general, Tuesday was a busy day of LeBron-related #content on social media.

In addition to various slideshows from the Space Jam premiere, James also posted a particularly horny caption onto a photo of him and his wife, Savannah, which he shared on his Instagram story.

Later in the day, a clip of the Lakers forward, via Savannah's IG and TikTok, intently watching his son Bronny's AAU game β€” looking just like the rest of us during a stressful sporting event β€” made the rounds, as well.

I'm guessing they'll be plenty more LeBron-centric content to come this week as Space Jam: A New Legacy hits theaters and HBO Max on Friday.
