The Los Angeles Lakers cruised to victory on Wednesday, as they obliterated the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. So much so, that some of the players on the team started celebrating during the game. LeBron James was not one of them.

As a matter of fact, James could not help but call out his teammates for what he considered to be premature celebrations:

“Hey, hey! Stop it! Stay locked in!” LeBron James shouted at his teammates before entering the huddle, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. “This sh– ain't over, man.”

Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard were the two players who were seen celebrating after Davis threw down an exclamation point dunk to put the Lakers up by 26 points. They had a huge margin on their hands, and both knew the game was out of reach, so who could blame them for their celebratory antics, right? Well, LeBron did just that.

James has been in this situation too many times in the past to be careless and complacent. As a matter of fact, LeBron discussed this during his post-game interview, turning the clock back all the way to 2011, when his Miami Heat were upset by the Dallas Mavericks in the Finals. According to the three-time NBA champ, that unforgettable collapse still haunts him to this very day.

This is exactly the type of attitude LeBron James wants to imbibe on his teammates. It ain't over 'til it's over. Once it finally is, then this is when the celebrations ought to begin.
