Devin Booker's ejection on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers caught everyone by surprise, especially since he didn't seem to do anything extreme. But a look at the replay from another angle may reveal the reason for the Phoenix Suns guard's ejection.
Peep the clip below and look at LeBron James' and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's reactions. They were immediately shocked at what they either heard or saw. Right after the sequence, Booker was tagged with his second technical foul for the game.

Now, fans are guessing as to what came out of Booker's mouth. Trash-talk is fairly normal in basketball or in any other sport. Referees completely allow the players to play little mind games with one another. So Booker must have said something extremely foul that the referees had to step in.
Another angle reveals that Booker threw a rather forceful bounce pass to the referees before getting slapped with a technical foul. Was this the reason for his ejection? Or did he whisper something a bit harsh that hurt the referees' feelings?

Whatever the real reason is, the referees are getting slammed by NBA fans for being too soft. It seems that everything that a player does will warrant a technical foul, and not even an All-Star like Devin Booker gets a pass.
