The NBA still hasn’t decided on the fate of the 2019-20 season’s remaining games, but LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is staying in shape just in case.

On an interview with Chris McGee of Spectrum SportsNet, Lakers shooting guard Danny Green spoke of the team’s current daily routine. Even as the current season’s future is uncertain, players are working out from home using their team’s guidelines and fitness plans, with LBJ particularly fired up. Green noted that the 35-year-old superstar has been working out “like a madman at least four, five times a week.” More than that, he is also actively checking in on his teammates, especially if they are able to get workouts in.

Even during the offseason, everyone’s eyes were on the Lakers superstar’s 17th year and his never-ending championship quest. After all, he now had seven-time All-Star Anthony Davis at his side. More than AD, the team also finally boasted a solid starting lineup and bench. After years of injuries and losing records, the purple and gold franchise was back on track for the top West seed.

Then, the coronavirus outbreak happened. The league suspended the season, and the Lakers’ campaign was unceremoniously halted.

In under 60 games played so far, LeBron managed his 16th All-Star season, averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 assists, and 10.6 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, the Brow similarly lived up to the hype, putting up 26.7 points, 9.4 boards, and 2.4 blocks nightly. If the season does resume, the fans are sure to expect a continuance of astonishing performances from the L.A. cast, especially in their quest to bring the championship back to the winning franchise.
