It looks like LeBron James is already over their loss to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

Just a few hours after their tough defeat in Game 1 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs, LeBron took to Instagram to congratulate his good friend Drake for being named Artist of the Decade at the Billboard Music Awards.

“ARE WE SURE IT’S LUCK??? CONGRATS to my brother for BILLBOARD Artist of the Decade! And guess what!?!?! He’s not done! @champagnepapi

The King must be looking for something to make him hyped after they suffered a 99-90 loss to the young Suns. The Lakers' lethargic performance was evident compared to the balls-to-the-wall energy of Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and company.

LeBron had a subpar showing himself, finishing with only 18 points, seven rebounds, and 10 assists. He also committed five of the Lakers' 14 turnovers. He had a solid start but looked disinterested in the last two quarters, even on offense.

Of course, LBJ got linked to Drake just recently after the four-time NBA MVP attended a tequila event with the multi-awarded rapper, which was against the league's COVID-19 protocols. The star-studded evening also had other celebrities as guests, including actors Michael B. Jordan and Mahershala Ali.

LeBron escaped penalty from the NBA, much to the disdain of opposing fans and some observers, including NBA on TNT host Charles Barkley.

LeBron James' message to Drake could be viewed as a positive by Lakers fans though. This could mean that LBJ isn't stewing on their Game 1 loss to the Suns. Because as he unintentionally alluded in his message to Drake, The Kings is not done as well. Game 2 is on Tuesday.
