Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma are two of the best rookies in the NBA this season and both of them play for the Los Angeles Lakers. Being fellow rookies, Ball and Kuzma have formed a bond from playing during the summer league. The two have been pranking and fooling around a lot throughout the season on social media.

The latest one is about a debt that Kuzma allegedly owes Ball from a previous bet and has no intention of betting against him again anytime soon.

Ball and Kuzma are having lots of fun as freshmen despite some early bumps on the road. They have become more and more comfortable as the season progresses.

As Hannah Kulik noted, “their relationship extends beyond making light of a situation. Kuzma repeatedly defended Ball when he was shooting poorly earlier in the season and not meeting the lofty expectations with which he entered the league. Ball has been lavish in his praise of Kuzma’s success.”

Ball is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Mavericks and has been out with a knee injury since January 15. He is currently averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.

Since Lonzo Ball went down with the injury, however, the Lakers have won 8 of their last 15 games.

Kyle Kuzma, on the other hand, was the team’s leading scorer for much of the season until recently when Brandon Ingram had a string of high-scoring games. He has season averages of 15.7 points on 36% shooting from the 3-point line, 5.9 rebounds a game.
