TMZ Sports is reporting that Lonzo Ball's girlfriend, Denise Garcia, gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday. The 20-year-old Lakers guard adds one more Ball to the family, thus making LaVar a proud grandfather.

The elder Ball must be thrilled with the new addition to the family, but he must have wanted a boy. If his first grandchild was a boy, he would be able to tell the media that he's just waiting for all four of his boys to play for the Lakers.

Maybe he'll throw traditional gender stereotypes to the wind and proclaim his granddaughter the next big thing in basketball. She'll be the first woman to play in the NBA. Lonzo's teammate LeBron James hopes to one day play with his son, Bronny. Perhaps LaVar hopes that Lonzo can do the same, except with little Zoey.

A 40-year-old Lonzo and a 20-year-old Zoey running the Lakers backcourt will only live in LaVar's dreams for now. He's much more concerned with his other two sons — LiAngelo and LaMelo. Both are currently playing in the JBA. LiAngelo went undrafted and his NBA prospects look slim, but the 16-year-old LaMelo still has hope for a future in the NBA.

The Ball family continues to dominate headlines. While most of the time, it's because of LaVar's antics. But this time it's uplifting news for the entire family. Congratulations to Lonzo and Denise.
