Since being traded to the Miami Heat last month, Dwyane Wade has been playing at a high level. This comes with the bigger role he is getting from head coach Erik Spoelstra, which has allowed him to spend more time on the court, and show that he can still produce solid numbers night in and night out.

Thursday night wasn't any different against the Los Angeles Lakers, as the former 12-time All-Star finished with 25 points, three rebounds and three assists, including an impossible fadeaway jump shot he knocked down in the second quarter. With Lonzo Ball playing smothering defense on him, Wade still found a way to score by shooting over the backboard and hitting nothing but net as the ball went through the hoop.

The 20-year-old rookie then took to his Twitter account after the game to give his reaction to it. He retweeted a video of the play and tagged Dwyane Wade in it, asking how he was able to pull it off despite his good defense.

Even with Wade's stellar play though, Ball and the Lakers still had the last laugh of the night, as they came out with a big road victory, 131-113.

The former UCLA star had another solid all-around game, recording eight points, six rebounds, seven assists and six steals. They also had big games from Isaiah Thomas and Julius Randle, who had 29 and 25 points on the night, respectively.

The Lakers may have won, but Wade's incredible play still sent a message to Ball that even if he's 35 years old now, he's still a crafty scorer and can still score with a taller and younger defender in front of him. For now, Lonzo Ball can charge it to experience, which will help him defend better in the future, especially against veterans like Wade.
