Heading into his second year in the league, no-longer-rookie Lonzo Ball is in the midst of “the biggest summer” of his life, after hitting the film room with Los Angeles Lakers legend and team president Magic Johnson.

General manager Rob Pelinka said Ball designed his offseason plans based on the areas he wanted to improve on this summer, requesting film sessions with Johnson over the course of the offseason, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk.

The Lakers have the added benefit of having an icon of the game as a team president, one which Ball seems determined to reap out every potential benefit.

Ball already has an elite-level vision, but learning the intricacies of the game from a Hall of Famer like Johnson could bring plenty of benefits to his career.

The Chino Hills product will have to take steps forward with his shooting as well in order to develop into a more effective point guard, but aspects like running the offense and smart shot selection are areas Johnson could really help Ball in over the course of this long summer.
