Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball's shooting form has been an easy target for critics and players alike. And the latest to join the bandwagon is college superstar Trae Young.

A video of Young impersonating Ball's awkward shooting form was recently uploaded by Overtime:

Young has been receiving plenty of media attention as of late after he declared for the 2018 NBA Draft. His shooting ability has often been compared to none other than Stephen Curry, arguably the greatest shooter in the game today.

In a video posted by Anthony Slater of The Athletic back in early January, Curry talks about being aware of Young's shooting prowess and is impressed with the 19-year-old's confidence:

“He’s unbelievable, just the confidence that he plays with. I call it the flare, but he seems like he’s always composed and knows what he’s trying to do every time he has the ball in his hands. He shoots a lot of deep threes and has a creativity to his game that’s so fluid to watch. The comparisons are what they are and I know when I turn on the game to watch him play… that kind of magnetism is pretty special in the college game…He’s fun to watch.”

During his high school days, Young averaged an astounding 42.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in his senior year.

In his one-year stint with Oklahoma, Young logged in 27.4 points, 8.7 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game. He shot 42.3 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from 3-point land.

Come the 2018 NBA Draft, critics have projected him to land anywhere within the top five.
