The Los Angeles Lakers may have found a legitimate star in the making in the form of rookie point guard Lonzo Ball. The 19-year-old has become a household name with his play at UCLA and in the NBA Summer League along with the added attention due to LaVar Ball's antics and the controversial Big Baller Brand.

On Friday, the Ball family made news once again with the announcement of NBA 2K18 set to feature Lonzo wearing his Big Baller Brand signature shoes. The NBA 2K Twitter account tweeted out the announcement.

With Ball wearing all sorts of different shoe brands during the Summer League as a tactic to attract companies like Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour, there has been a lot of speculation about whether a deal may be struck with one of these major brands. At this point, it doesn't appear to be happening with LaVar adamant about wanting a deal with an extremely high-dollar amount, but the Big Baller Brand will get some added exposure by being featured in the popular video game franchise.

Over the past week or so, the NBA 2K Twitter account has been tweeting out the player ratings for a lot of the notable names in the league. Ball's rating came out recently with the Lakers rookie coming in at 80 along with fellow lottery pick Markelle Fultz of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Along with Ball, fellow Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma also had his player rating revealed with the Utah product sitting at 72 to start his first NBA season. No other Lakers have had their ratings released, but both Jordan Clarkson and Josh Hart have tweeted at NBA 2K wanting to know what their rating will be.
