The Los Angeles Lakers have unveiled their new uniforms for the 2018-19 season and these are some that will have old-school fans as well as the new wave delighted with its modifications.

As seen here, the famed purple and gold franchise has gone back to their signature drop shadow underneath the jersey number — something they hadn't done since 1999.

The changes, though light in nature, bring a nostalgic flashback of Magic Johnson's Showtime era — an ironic bit considering it's the man himself running the front office.

The classic gold radiates with the subtle white stripes blended in the shoulder cut and delineating the iconic team logo.

A deep purple makes a near-perfect alternate uniform, paying homage to the 80s championship teams under former coach Pat Riley.

A crisp white uniform blends quite well with the classic purple-and-gold to go with the signature Nike swoosh and the Wish partnership patch after inking a multi-year deal with the e-commerce company.

While these uniforms are gorgeous and are receiving critical applause on social media, this is about the 50th most interesting thing happening around the franchise this offseason. Obviously, it all starts with the famed purple and gold signing LeBron James, then it continues to go from there.
