The Los Angeles Lakers have partnered with San Francisco-based e-commerce website Wish as their jersey patch partner, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell. The deal is expected to range between $12-to-$14 million per year, according to Sports Business Daily.

Wish, a “digital mall” that sells discounted goods, was founded in 2011. According to the company’s website, it is the sixth largest e-commerce company in the world.

“We talked to a bunch of companies,” President of Business Operations Tim Harris said, noting the deal will include a founding sponsorship in the team’s training center, along with signage and hospitality at Staples Center. “We were hoping for a company that is more mobile facing, because it helps us to continue to connect with younger fans.”

The font of the patch will match the Nike swoosh across from it, blending in nicely with the rest of the uniform.

This is one of the most lucrative patch partnerships, a step under the $20-million-per-year deal by Japanese company Rakuten and the Golden State Warriors.

Now 17 of the 30 NBA teams have secured jersey patch sponsorships with only weeks prior to the preseason, when the jerseys are set to debut.
