Following a tense confrontation with veterans after the Los Angeles Lakers' loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, head coach Luke Walton eventually emerged from the locker room with a Tupperware full of homemade brownies, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic.

Yup. That's right.

Walton then shared the brownies with anyone who had interest and raved about how good they were.

If you're wondering if Walton made the brownies himself, well, he didn't, as he specified that they were a gift.

Talk about an incredibly hilarious turn in what was a really serious situation.

You can't help but feel bad for Walton, who seems to be on the hot seat as the Lakers currently own a 27-26 record and sit two games behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Not only that, but Los Angeles has two teams to jump, as the Sacramento Kings are are in ninth place.

Things seemed to be going just fine for LA on Christmas, as the Lakers had just finished blowing out the Warriors at Oracle Arena to improve to 20-14 on the year.

However, LeBron James went down with a groin injury that night, and Los Angeles has spiraled downward ever since.

James returned for the Lakers' win over the Clippers on Thursday, but sat against the Warriors on Saturday evening due to soreness.

If Los Angeles does not get this thing turned around within the next couple of weeks, you have to wonder if Walton will even be able to finish out the regular season as head coach.
