Magic Johnson remains impressed by his own accomplishments with the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James' trophy case isn't too shabby, either.

On Sunday, Johnson and James met up at SoFi Stadium, where they were in attendance to watch the Los Angeles Chargers‘ home opener against LeBron's other favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys.

As Johnson pointed out in his quote-tweet re-sharing the photo of the two Lakers stars that James initially posted, the basketball icons have racked up a decently impressive share of accolades over the course of their NBA careers.

“Combined we have 19 NBA Finals appearances, 9 NBA Championships, 7 League MVPs and 7 Finals MVPs…crazy,” Magic wrote.

Right you are, Magic!

The image of LeBron and Magic seemingly getting along in a public forum is significant for reasons beyond their historic indent in the NBA record books.

As Silver Screen and Roll's Harrison Faigen recalled, the moguls had not been spotted together since Johnson abruptly resigned as co-president of the Lakers minutes before the regular-season finale of 2018-19 — LeBron's first season in purple-and-gold. James — who had been successfully “recruited” by Magic to Los Angeles (not that he needed to be), and who memorably met with Magic shortly after midnight at the onset of 2018 free agency — was not thrilled about Johnson's decision to jump ship.

However, despite the rocky exit, the vibes seem to be all good between Magic and LeBron — whose games are often compared, as 6'9 orchestrators that are both amongst the greatest passers in NBA history. Johnson, of course, continues to be a vocal supporter (and sometimes critic) of Rob Pelinka, Jeanie Buss, and the Lakers organization.

The only remaining question is: how did LeBron's recent Mediterranean-based superyacht trip compare with Johnson's epic summer jaunts through the high seas and high cuisines of Europe?
