Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson is devastated after the three cops who killed Breonna Taylor weren't charged on Wednesday.

Johnson took to Twitter to express his sadness that Taylor's killers won't be arrested and charged with murder.

“It’s a disappointing day for Louisville, the state of Kentucky, and for all American people to say the least,” the Lakers icon wrote. “Breonna Taylor’s family received a settlement in their wrongful death lawsuit yet no one is being held accountable for her wrongful death?? Help us understand!!! Another innocent black life gone with no consequences!! Breonna Taylor was 26, a daughter, a cousin, a friend, a girlfriend, an ER technician, an AMERICAN.”

Magic Johnson, one of the greatest players in Lakers and NBA history, is just the latest basketball player to express disgust with the Breonna Taylor decision. The African American community is grieving heavily right now, and no one can blame them.

Taylor is just one of the many unarmed African Americans to be killed by the police. She has been on the minds of NBA players at Walt Disney World, as the Lakers and every club in the bubble have been seeking justice for Taylor and her family.

Unfortunately, the NBA's efforts came up short and it's certainly going to affect the players emotionally moving forward.

For one, Lakers star LeBron James also recently shared his heartbreak over the news, noting that he's “devastated, hurt, sad [and] mad” by the development.
