Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson is definitely psyched with his former team's latest acquisitions following their 2020 championship season. The Hall of Fame point guard was tuned in on the first day of free agency and was extremely pleased with the Purple and Gold's latest haul.

Magic once again took to Twitter to give his seal of approval to the Lakers' aggressiveness in the first hours of free agency, which resulted in the signings of Montrezl Harrell and Wesley Matthews. He also lauded the team's earlier agreement with the Oklahoma City Thunder in flipping Danny Green for Dennis Schroder.

It's not hard not to share Magic Johnson's delight with the Lakers front office right now considering they just addressed all their roster needs so far. Schroder gives them another playmaker and a knockdown shooter who can take the ball off LeBron James' hands, while Matthews is the perfect 3-and-D guy to complement the team.

The surprising signing of Harrell, meanwhile, caught everyone by surprise. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year winner gives the Lakers another abled-body big and an upgrade over Dwight Howard, who left the Lakers for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Lakers' dealings, meanwhile, is likely far from over considering they might also lose the likes of Rajon Rondo and Avery Bradley in free agency.

Magic, on the other hand, is certainly on point with his observations about the reigning champs getting younger for their bid for a repeat in 2020-21. Superstar Anthony Davis has already committed to re-sign with the team and is just ironing out the details involving the length of his new deal. The Lakers are bound to make more moves in the coming days and we can expect more tweets of approval from Johnson.
