Big man log-jam in Los Angeles? On the contrary, Montrezl Harrell is pretty thrilled that he'll finally have some much-needed help in anchoring the Los Angeles Lakers frontcourt. The reigning champions officially announced the signing of prized buy-out target Andre Drummond on Sunday.

Per Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation, Trez said the whole team is giddy with excitement for the chance to add a two-time All-Star center like Drummond in their title defense bid.

“He's a strong solid player on both sides of the floor. … We can't wait for him to get here. We're going to welcome him with open arms,” the 2020 Sixth Man of the Year said of Drummond.

The Purple and Gold certainly need all the help they can get at the moment, as they try to get by sans their injured superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Harrell has been one of the team's vocal leaders as of late, as he tries to man the fort in their absence.

He put up a strong double-double of 18 points and 11 boards, as well as two steals and two blocks in the Lakers; 96-93 win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday.

The Lakers' frontcourt issues have been plaguing them for most of the season, despite Harrell's fine play for the team. Marc Gasol hasn't exactly been as effective as they'd hope he'll be while losing AD for a long time hurts them on both ends of the floor.

The arrival of Drummond is certainly a welcome development for the Frank Vogel-coached team. The 27-year-old behemoth is a double-double machine that should fill out their most glaring need right away.

Come to think of it, Trez and Dre actually do play similarly and it would interesting to see how they'll wreak havoc sharing the frontcourt for the Lakers.
