After 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant is a year removed from his final game where he scored 60 points against the Utah Jazz. In the next chapter of Bryant's career, he is currently focused on building up businesses as well as storytelling, which have exclusively appeared on ESPN.

While Bryant is no longer playing, NBA 2K18 recently revealed all-time teams including the Lakers. According to Twitter, the five-time champion is rated a 98 in this year's edition in celebration of his 39th birthday:

Over the years, the only player to receive a 99 rating from the video game has been Michael Jordan. While most consider Jordan to be the greatest player of all time, they also recognize Bryant as the second best shooting guard of all time. Although many have attempted to be the next Jordan through the years, Bryant was the closest player to him and earned his idol's respect.

With President of Basketball Operations Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka (Bryant's former agent) in charge, it will be interesting to see if Bryant has any interest in a team role. While the 18-time All-Star is focused on his projects, he has been willing to advise and work out with players.

Bryant averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 1,346 games.
