Nick Young took to Twitter to air out a little bit of his frustration following Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors.

Young acknowledged how impressive Raptors star Kawhi Leonard has been throughout Toronto's run, but could not help but remind everyone about the type of impact Los Angeles Lakers talisman LeBron James has had on the league:

It's pretty cool that Nick Young is showing so much love toward LeBron, but in truth, no one was really asking or saying otherwise. Then again, Young has never been one to hold his tongue, so this is definitely him staying in character.

Nevertheless, Young has a very valid point here, as James absolutely dominated the Eastern Conference throughout his career. His eight consecutive Finals appearances — a record that was shattered this year following a forgettable first season with the Lakers — is simply testament to this fact.

Many believe that the playoffs just aren't the same without LeBron in the picture, and most Lakers supporters (and a fair amount of general basketball fans as well) would attest to this claim. However, this postseason has not been short of remarkable storylines.

With the Raptors dominating the defending champs to secure a 118-109 victory in Game 1, their fairytale run has taken another step toward their ultimate goal of winning the championship. The dynasty-seeking, three-peat hopeful Warriors, however, will have a thing or two to say about this. The whole basketball world will definitely be tuned in for Game 2 on Sunday in what should be another highly entertaining contest between the two best teams in the league today.
