Nick Young is one of the many players and fans backing up Ice Cube's vision of having Kobe Bryant be part of the BIG3 three-on-three tournament for the following season.

The new Golden State Warriors addition has advocated for his appearance before along with the likes of other former Los Angeles Lakers like Lamar Odom and Smush Parker.

TMZ Sports caught up with the man known as Swaggy P, asking him about a potential Black Mamba cameo come Sunday, when the BIG3 stops at L.A.

“If you can get Kobe, man… I wanna see that happen,” said Young. “I'm coming to the Staples Center Sunday.”

Bryant has clearly been out of basketball shape after vacationing in Portofino, Italy and gaining a few extra pounds.

Yet it'll be tough to put it past him and his maniacally competitive attitude coupled with the work ethic he showed during his 20-year career.

The Mamba has nothing left to prove, having won five championships and multiple accolades throughout his Hall of Fame-worthy stint in the NBA, but if there is challenge ahead, there's always a chance Kobe is seeking to take it.
