The tragic passing of Kobe Bryant two years ago completely shook the NBA world. The Los Angeles Lakers star was one of the five victims in a helicopter crash in California. Fans lamented Kobe and Gianna's passing, while also feeling bad for his wife and other daughters.

Thankfully, though, Vanessa Bryant and her daughters have some cool uncles to rely on from Kobe's playing days with the Lakers. One of those cool uncles is Pau Gasol. Bryant shared a heartwarming video of Gasol trying to keep up with her daughter Bianka's ballet skills.

Yeah
Pau should definitely stick to basketball for the time being.

Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant's partnership is the stuff of legends in Lakertown. The duo first teamed up in 2008, when Gasol joined Bryant's Lakers in a blockbuster trade. Immediately, the move paid dividends for the team, as they powered their way to three straight Finals appearances. Two of those appearances also ended in a chip for LA, with Gasol serving as the backbone of their defense and rebounding during those years.

Gasol's last game in the NBA was back in 2019 for the Milwaukee Bucks after a stint with the Bulls and the Blazers. The Lakers legend attempted a comeback in 2021 for his hometown team Barcelona in the EuroLeague. Shortly after, though, Gasol would announce his retirement from competitive basketball, ending a career filled with success at every turn.

Lakers fans are glad to see that the elder Gasol's family is still very close to the Bryants to this day.
