Did Phil Jackson sneak into the Los Angeles Lakers' practice facility? The former head coach of the Lakers is a legend in Los Angeles, but it's somewhat surprising to see him show up at the team facility. He was spotted with Kurt Rambis, who serves as a senior basketball adviser:

It's fitting that Phil Jackson and Kurt Rambis are sitting directly above Kobe Bryant's numbers hanging on the wall. Jackson won three championships with Bryant when he wore No. 8, then left for a year before returning to win two more championships with Bryant wearing No. 24.

Seeing Jackson is a bit of a surprise, partially due to his breakup with owner Jeanie Buss, but also because of his relationship with LeBron James. It's no secret that James and Jackson don't like each other.

Jackson will go down as one of the greatest coaches in Lakers history. He might be the greatest coach, but it's hard to say. He's contending with all-time greats like Pat Riley and John Kundla.

Jackson's resume speaks for itself. Therefore, he should always be welcome in Los Angeles despite the tension with James. Unless Rambis and Jackson were discussing how to stage a coup to oust head coach Luke Walton, there's no reason for Lakers fans to sweat this meeting.

That does sound like something these two would do, but that's not happening. Luke Walton played for Phil Jackson on two championship teams and Jackson has always been very supportive of Walton as a coach.
