Rajon Rondo and Russell Westbrook are two of the most intense individuals in the NBA right now. As such, some folks had questions about how these two would co-exist on the same team now that they're both with the Los Angeles Lakers. As it turns out, however, they now appear to have formed quite a friendship.

Rondo recently spoke out about his relationship with Westbrook, and apparently, they're actually a lot alike:

“He's a funny guy,” Rondo said, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation. “We have a lot of things in common.”

Who would have thought Rondo and Westbrook had a lot of things in common? This isn't exactly what you would expect to hear based on what we've seen from these two through the years. Then again, this is the first time they're playing on the same team, so perhaps getting to know each other has worked wonders for them. Do we see a BFF-type relationship in the works here?

Rondo and Westbrook getting along well is something the Lakers need right now. Chemistry has been an issue for this squad, and their 0-5 start to the preseason is a clear indication of the same. At least this is one thing LA has going for them at this point.
