Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo will play against the Miami Heat on Friday after missing two games.

Rondo didn't play versus the Minnesota Timberwolves or Orlando Magic due to a hamstring injury. LA won both games without Rondo.

The Lakers are 22-3 on the season. They have the best record in the Western Conference and are tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record in the NBA.

In 13 games this season for the Lakers, Rondo is averaging 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists. He's shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 52.8 percent from beyond the arc and 72.7 percent from the free-throw line. The Lakers are 12-1 with Rondo in the lineup.

Friday is going to be a good matchup between the Lakers and Heat. Miami hasn't lost at home this season. LeBron James returns to South Beach for the second time as a Laker. He poured in 51 points last season against the Heat in Miami.

With LeBron and Anthony Davis leading the way, the Lakers have a great chance of winning the title this season. James is putting up 25.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 10.8 assists, while Davis is averaging 27.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.6 blocks.

All is well with the Purple and Gold at the moment. They are clicking on all cylinders.
