Rasheed Wallace has never been shy to share his opinions. And of course, he has one on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

In his recent guesting on ESPN's The Jump, Wallace sounded off on what the Lakers need to secure an outright berth in the NBA Playoffs with just a few games remaining. The answer was pretty clear to him: LeBron James. Yes, Wallace just confirmed what everyone's thinking. If the Purple and Gold want to retain their title, they need The King.

It's not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but when it's coming from Wallace, it's true. He's always all about real talk.

“LBJ is definitely the glue for that team. I'm not disrespecting AD (Anthony Davis), I think he's a great player, he definitely deserves all the accolades he's gotten, but they gonna definitely need LBJ if they want to go ahead and go back to back (champions).”

Wallace, however, made sure to clarify that looking for LeBron isn't throwing a shade at Davis. In fact, he praised AD for his monster 42-point outing against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. But the reality is Davis can't carry the Lakers by himself the way LeBron can.

Wallace's take might come to fruition as well, with LBJ likely to make his return against the New York Knicks on Tuesday after a four-game layoff to rest his right ankle. Lakers coach Frank Vogel said LeBron was a full participant in practice on Monday and reportedly did not feel any lingering pain.

The Lakers have clearly struggled without LeBron James, and his supposed Big Three team-up with Davis and Andre Drummond hasn't really been tested, which doesn't bode well for them with the NBA Playoffs nearing.

Rasheed Wallace don't lie!
