There is no shortage of high expectations surrounding Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball as he heads into his first season in the league.

Despite yet to play in a regular season game, Ball has already created much optimism about what may lie ahead this upcoming campaign. During an interview with “The Cruz Show” On Power 106 on Wednesday morning, former Lakers forward Rick Fox voiced that he's been more than pleased by what the 19-year-old has shown so far.

What has further drawn more excitement about what Ball brings to the table was his play in the Las Vegas Summer League where he led the Lakers to the title game helping him earn the Summer League MVP award after averaging 16.3 points, 9.3 assists, and 7.7 rebounds per game that included a pair of triple-doubles.

Granted, it was mostly against a much lower level of competition that he will see in the NBA he played quite well continually making impressive passes along with improved decision-making as he garnered more playing time. He also showed poise running the offense with his teammates on the floor alongside him benefitting from his passing ability.

Ball will have the opportunity to show if he can fulfill the potential to quickly become the face of the franchise for the Lakers and show that he can thrive while bringing the franchise back to relevancy.
