The Los Angeles Lakers' roster for next season is almost set. They already have 14 players under contract and they could stick with this group or add a couple more free agents depending on who's available.

Unlike last season, the Lakers had a clear goal during free agency: land 3-point shooters and experienced veterans to surround LeBron James and Anthony Davis. That has been the case before and after they missed out on Kawhi Leonard.

According to Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka, their plan heading into free agency was made easier by Bron and AD, whom he called two of the top five players in the league.

Having 3-point specialist like Danny Green and solid shooters like Avery Bradley, Troy Daniels and Quinn Cook will make it easier for LeBron James and Anthony Davis to operate inside the paint. LBJ and AD will definitely attract double teams in the post, which will allow them to pass the ball to open teammates behind the arc.

Defensively, the Lakers are also pretty good, as the guys they brought in know how to play good defense on a nightly basis.

It will be interesting to see how the Lakers will fair against some of the best teams in the league next season, but if everything falls into place, there is no doubt that they can dominate the league.

It would've been a lot easier if they have acquired Leonard, but Los Angeles rebounded pretty well after losing out on him. They are still able to build a competitive roster that will surely put everything on the line for a championship.
