The Los Angeles Lakers managed to make a trade prior to the 2022 NBA Draft by acquiring the Orlando Magic's No. 35 overall pick, where they ultimately selected Max Christie from Michigan State. Skip Bayless made sure to point out that he only shot 32% from downtown with the Spartans and continued to say he'll fit in perfectly with Russell Westbrook and LeBron James because of his struggles from long range.

On Friday, Russ responded to Skip's comments and needless to say, he wasn't too pleased with the Fox Sports analyst calling him “Westbrick.”

The Lakers guard is heated, essentially threatening Bayless on social media. You can't blame him for being upset, though. Absolutely no one would like that nickname. Westbrook is undoubtedly coming off a woeful season for LA but due to his massive salary, it appears he'll likely stay put in 2022-23 as the organization looks to bounce back from a campaign where they finished 16 games below .500 and even missed the Play-In Tournament.

Russ averaged 18.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists while shooting just 29% from deep. That's exactly why Bayless is calling him “Westbrick.” But with a new coach in Darvin Ham and a year under his belt with the Lakers, there is hope Russell Westbrook can bounce back and fit in with LeBron and Anthony Davis next season.

If that happens, it'll definitely shut Skip Bayless's mouth. As for Christie, well, he'll likely end up in the G League at first unless he makes a massive impression.
