Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook got into a Twitter feud with Skip Bayless on Friday after the Fox Sports analyst proceeded to call him “Westbrick”. Paul George even came to the defense of his former teammate but he wasn't the only one.

Westbrook's wife, Nina Westbrook, also made sure to let Bayless know how the family really felt about this horrid nickname of the Lakers guard.

It’s very disheartening that you would choose to continue to shame my family name. Today was a really sad day my daughters and me. The fact that you can’t respect a simple request not to try to tarnish my family name is saddening and such a pile on. It’s extremely hurtful.

Yikes. The Lakers star and his family made it clear they wanted to be called by their real name, Westbrook. Not Westbrick. Bayless didn't seem to care, though, and went right after Russ.

It's no secret he struggled in his first season with the Lakers and many fans were hoping he'd be gone this summer. But, with Westbrook's hefty salary, it's unlikely they're able to trade him. Perhaps a brand new coach and a year under his belt in LA can help Russ find his footing and be the player we all know he can be. However, people like Skip Bayless disrespecting him out of nowhere is pretty uncalled for, especially when it's affecting Westbrook's family, too.
