LeBron James played an incredible game to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 112-102 win over the Houston Rockets in Game 2. However, disaster almost begat The King on Tuesday night.

As you can from the clip below, James nearly broke his thumb while getting his hand stuck inside the rim as he was going for a block attempt:

This would have been a nightmare for Los Angeles. This play was a testament to LeBron James' aggressiveness and effort on the defensive end on Tuesday night. The King was swatting shots left and right, and he finished with a game-high four blocks. Luckily for Lakers fans, James came out unscathed and appears to be just fine moving forward.

As usual, the Lakers' superstar pairing of LeBron James and Anthony Davis came up big for the Lakers. LeBron finished with a game-high 36 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. He shot 13-of-23 from the field and knocked down four 3-pointers. Anthony Davis also had a huge outing with 26 points, 15 boards, and six assists while shooting 9-of-13 from the floor.

Los Angeles also got major contributions from Rajon Rondo and Kyle Kuzma. Playoff Rondo was in full form on Tuesday with 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting, and he also dished out nine dimes. He even knocked down three 3-pointers. Kuzma, meanwhile, scored 14 points on an efficient 7-of-10 shooting clip.

LeBron James also added another impressive accolade to his Hall of Fame resume. The win gave the four-time NBA MVP his 162nd playoff victory, which means he now has the most playoff wins in league history.
