Shannon Sharpe wants to end the whole G.O.A.T. debate and decided to go on quite the literal route on Monday night. In the first installment of their show after LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers won the 2020 NBA championship, the Fox Sports anchor decided to surprise his co-host Skip Bayless by bringing an actual goat on set.

To top it all off, the goat was donning a LeBron James jersey and a crown.

Only Mr. Sharpe will go this extent just to prove his point:

Let's be real, that Lakers jersey looks quite good on the goat.

The goat, who Sharpe constantly referred to as LeBron, even had a few tricks up his sleeves. Mr. LeBron (the goat) gave Sharpe a handshake as he was constantly rewarded with some treats and non-stop praises from the football Hall of Famer.

“You've been unbelievable. That's my guy,” Sharpe told LeBron (the goat). “That's a real GOAT, Skip.”

Bayless, who is known to be one of the biggest LeBron haters, wasn't having it despite the Lakers' success. While his co-host was feeding a treat to their new pet on set, Skip told Sharpe that according to his sources, he got the goat's name wrong.

“You know what a little bird told me? This goat's real name is Michael. That's what they call him, Michael,” Bayless fired back.

Unfortunately for Bayless, he would probably need to dial down on the LeBron James slander for quite a bit after seeing that the Lakers star beat all the odds and win his fourth NBA title on his 17th year.

As James inches his way closer to the great Michael Jordan (in terms of rings that is), look for the GOAT debate to ramp up — especially as the 35-year old is getting closer and closer to wrapping up his illustrious career.
