Los Angeles Lakers icon Shaquille O'Neal may be retired, but old habits like dunking on opponents never die. Just ask Charles Barkley.

On Wednesday after the TNT broadcast of the Denver Nuggets-Phoenix Suns Game 2, the crew decided to have some fun with the mini-hoop on set. Of course, as someone who used to bully his foes down the rim and destroy backboards, Shaq couldn't help but posterize a previous nemesis in Barkley.

Here's the funny sequence between the two NBA legends. For what it's worth, Shaq failed at his attempt:

This is not the first time Shaq went at Barkley, and so is Chuck to the Lakers great. The two have had their fair share of disagreements on set–be it serious about basketball or the little, trivial things.

Heck, who could even forget Shaquille O'Neal often reminding Charles Barkley of his rings? It has even become the butt of jokes, with some mocking Shaq for always using the same line when he's losing an argument or when he just wants to poke fun at Sir Chuck.

Anyway, the two has seemingly developed a good relationship after their post-playing career. They also make for some great must-see TV given their experience of playing against each other in the NBA.

Nonetheless, we can't help but wonder if Shaq is still trying to get back at Chuck for throwing the basketball at his head once during a game when he was with the Lakers and Barkley was with the Houston Rockets. …
