Outspoken NBA analyst Skip Bayless has been enthralled in a war of words (a rather one-sided one, though) with Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard. So much so that Bayless has now opted to cheer for the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James.
For what it's worth, Skip often criticizes LeBron in his show, even arguing with his co-host and ultimate LBJ fan Shannon Sharpe most of the time.
Bayless sent out a tweet demeaning Lillards' Blazers, as they took on the Lakers in Game 3 of their first-round series on Saturday:
LeBron is mean-mugging against the sorry Trail Blazers. The TRAIL BLAZERS, LeBron. At least save it for the next round.

Nearly everyone is seeing through what Bayless is doing here, as he has opted to bandwagon on LeBron and the Lakers just to be able to join the hate train against Lillard and the Blazers.
Even Kendrick Perkins called out Bayless for his laughable fence hopping.

Skip Bayless has had a reputation for going against the norm throughout his broadcasting career, and at times, it feels like he's just doing it for attention. Case in point is his unending criticism of LeBron James despite all the accolades and awards.
By doing so, Bayless usually makes headlines with his audacious claims, and as it appears, he is pulling out the same tactic against Lillard here. After all, the Blazers superstar has been one of, if not the hottest name in the entire league since the restart.
