It's no secret that Snoop Dog, the legendary rapper who is one of the best selling artists of all-time, is a basketball fanatic. His favorite team is none other than the Los Angeles Lakers, and he has been a fan for quite awhile.

He has also attended some of the Lakers most memorable games. During Kobe Bryant's last game in the NBA, Snoop Dogg was present living it up in the front row on every historic moment. Even though the Lakers are currently rebuilding. Snoop Dogg appears to stay true to his allegiance to the purple and gold.

In fact, the famous rapper stated that if he was the coach he would automatically select LeBron James first and ‘figure it out from there', per ESPN's Arash Markazi‏.

If “Coach Snoop” was leading the Los Angeles Lakers the first thing he’d do is get LeBron James “and then figure it out from there.”

Getting James to join the Lakers isn't a bad idea. At 33 years of age, the Cleveland Cavaliers star still clearly reigns as the NBA's best player, averaging 26.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game. James is universally known to make his teammates better since his younger days on the Cavs.

James also transformed the Heat into dynasty team. Even though they had great talents like Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, he was still the alpha on that team and they would not have come close to the success they had if he wasn't on the lead.

If the Lakers actually get James, their team would undeniably get better. His veteran presence and playmaking could help the young team succeed at least at a playoff level.

It doesn't take a person like Snoop Dogg to figure out that James could be the answer to the Lakers' problems.
