ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith believes Andre Iguodala would give the Los Angeles Lakers a title edge over the Los Angeles Clippers if the 2015 Finals MVP joins them.

Iguodala is still a member of the Memphis Grizzlies. It's unknown if the Grizzlies will buy out Iggy's contract or look to trade him before or during the 2019-20 season.

The Lakers have LeBron James and Anthony Davis, while the Clippers have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Stephen A. Smith says as it stands, the Clippers are a better team than the Lakers since they have more depth.

However, Smith says James and Davis are the best dynamic duo in the league and the Lakers would win the 2020 title if they are somehow able to acquire Iguodala:

The Lakers have to pray the Clippers don't somehow get Andre Iguodala. The Clippers are already going to be an elite defensive team with Leonard, George, Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell anchoring the unit. If LAC added Iguodala, they would arguably have one of the best defenses (on paper) of all-time.

Iguodala, Kawhi and PG defend LeBron better than anyone in the NBA. The King would have literally zero airspace if Iggy ended up on the Clippers.

The Lakers filled out their roster well after missing out on Leonard. The Purple and Gold signed DeMarcus Cousins, Danny Green, Quinn Cook, Avery Bradley, Troy Daniels and Jared Dudley. The Lakers also re-signed Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

If GM Rob Pelinka can get Iguodala, the LakeShow would be a very versatile team and could win title No. 17.
