Los Angeles Lakers guard Talen Horton-Tucker is a free agent this offseason and it's still unknown if he will return to the team. Nonetheless, he's been putting in work to improve his game. THT has actually been training alongside rapper J.Cole, who also had a short stint in the Africa Basketball League recently.

The two were seen training with Lakers assistant coach Phil Handy, who brings a wealth of experience to the table. Horton-Tucker is coming off a respectable campaign with LA, averaging nine points and 2.8 assists in 20.1 minutes off the bench for the Lakers. He was also seen recently training with shooting specialist Lethal Shooter. It's an area of THT's game that has struggled, draining just 28.2% of his attempts from downtown last season.

Cole meanwhile had to leave the Rwanda Patriots of the ABL due to a family emergency in late May, playing just three games in the league. However, the fact that he's training with Lakers assistant Handy and Horton-Tucker means he is still trying to play ball at the professional level.

It's good to see THT working hard at improving in the 2021 offseason and I'm sure it's pretty cool for him to have one of the best rappers around, too.
