Chris Bosh recently guested on Shannon Sharpe's “Club Shay Shay” podcast, and the two-time NBA champ took a quick stroll down memory lane to share his memory about that unforgettable time Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers dropped 81 points.

Sharpe and Bosh shared a good laugh about the fact that most people don't even remember that Bosh was actually part of that Toronto Raptors team that faced off against Kobe and the Lakers on that fateful evening. To be fair, Bosh was still a young up-and-comer at that point in his career, being that he was just in his third season in the league.

Nevertheless, Bosh admitted that it was an “embarrassing” experience for him, while also discussing what he believed to be the most staggering part of Kobe's historic performance:

For Bosh, the one thing he remembers the most from that game is how Bryant dropped 55 points in the second half against them. Most players don't even get to score 55 in a game throughout their entire career, so for someone to score that many points in a single half is indeed staggering. For his part, it is clear that this left a mark on Bosh — to this very day.

It was great to hear Bosh's retelling of his experience from that evening. It's not everyday that you get to learn about the perspective of someone who was on the receiving end of an absolutely epic performance from the ages. Bosh was a first-hand witness to one of the greatest scoring nights this sport has ever seen, and it was quite a ride to hear his side of the story.

Now if we could just get Jalen Rose to do a another follow up on this then that would be perfect.
